Cancellation Policy

Peak Expedition Charters Cancellation Policy

At Peak Expedition Charters, we understand that plans can change. Because we reserve your date exclusively for your group, the following cancellation policy applies:

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all reservations. Your charter date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Customer Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the charter date will forfeit the deposit only.
  • Cancellations made 15 to 30 days before the charter date are responsible for 50% of the total charter cost.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled charter, including no-shows, are responsible for 100% of the charter fee unless we are able to rebook the date.

Weather Policy

Your safety is our top priority. Only the captain may cancel or postpone a trip due to unsafe weather or sea conditions. Light rain, overcast skies, or changing forecasts do not automatically result in cancellation.

If the captain determines conditions are unsafe, you may choose to:

  • Reschedule your trip to a mutually available date, or
  • Receive a full refund of any payments made.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. Charters begin and end at the scheduled times. Late arrivals will not extend the trip, and no refunds will be provided for lost time.

Failure to Appear

Guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled charter without prior notice will be charged the full charter price.

Captain's Right to Cancel

Peak Expedition Charters reserves the right to cancel any trip due to unsafe weather, mechanical issues, or any unforeseen circumstance that could affect the safety of our guests or crew. In these cases, guests will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Guest Conduct

The captain reserves the right to terminate a trip without refund if any guest is intoxicated, uses illegal drugs, behaves in a reckless or unsafe manner, or fails to follow safety instructions
